Movie! Movie!Movie! That's what I'm chanting right now. Look I already know that Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout has already been opted out for a movie. I don't know how long the process for getting this movie out there, but it should've been made like yesterday. I loved this series, I finished it in a week, it was so good. The Lux Series is about Katy, a 17yr old girl who recently lost her father to brain cancer and moved from Florida to a small town in Virginia with her mom, and she just so happens to move right next door to twins Daemon and Dee. The first time Katy meets Daemon, she is absolutely mesmerized until he opens his mouth and is a complete jerk and from there they have a hate relationship. Daemon constantly tries to drive Katy away, while Dee is persistent on trying to be her best friend. Katy is bent on reinventing herself, determined not to be the old Katy, but a new improved Katy who is outgoing and stands up for herself. The small town Katy lives in is pretty weird, when she is out with Dee people look at them strange, and kids at her high school end up missing pretty frequently. Considering, everything else is pretty much normal, until one day when Daemon has to be nice to Katy for his sister in order for him to get his car keys back, and Katy's life gets put in danger, and guess who has to save her using their unique abilities, Ding Ding Ding you guessed it, Daemon! From there Katy finds out that Daemon is an alien of the alien race Luxen. From then on, nothing is the same, Katy starts hanging out more with Dee and Daemon and learning all about the Luxen race and how they are all born as triplets, and how Dee and Daemon's triplet was dead and his girlfriend is still missing. We learn in this series that everything isn't as it seems. This series is action packed, and will have you swooning over Daemon and Katy's relationship.Once the air is cleared between the two they have a lot more problems than just Katy finding out about the Luxen secret. Boy oh boy things really start to hit the fan, you don't know which way is up or down, there are betrayals you can't even imagine, you can't tell foe from friend, and I'm telling you right now do not get attached to any of the supporting characters. Jennifer has done a phenomenal job writing this series that everyone and there mama should read it. LOL! But seriously do not sleep on it. This is very much movie worthy and I can't wait til it comes out. People I smell a franchise.
