Forever A Fairy Princess

So anyone who knows me knows that I love books about anything Fairy and this awesome author knocked it out the park for me. Fairy-Struck by Amy Sumida is one of the best Fairy books that I have read thus far. She really did her research, there are so many fairy folklore out there and she touches on almost everyone of them. This series is about Seren, a 26 yr old Extinguisher, a person who keeps the human realm protected from the fairies and vice versa, she's a peace keeper, if anyone falls out of line she is to deem punishment as necessary. They have gifts such as levitating, telekinesis, and precognition. Seren's mother is dead, and her and her father have a lot of anger towards the fairies because one murdered her mother, so they have been sent to Hawaii to keep out of trouble, because of all the havoc they've caused. They finally receive a job from the council, a kill warrant for a fairy, but the fairy doesn't hide nor run away, she gives up and surrenders and tells them that the other faction of fairies want her dead because she has important information about a biological organism that they are trying to release in the human realm, they retrieve her only to be met by the Wild Hunt in their driveway, the equivalent to an Extinguisher in the Fairy Realm, asking them to hand her over. They refuse and consult with the council, and they confirm to bring her in. When confronting the Wild Hunt, Seren has a undeniable connection with the Commander Tiernan, as he does with her, but neither likes the others race.

On their way to the council, they are attacked, but the fugitive fairy is not the target, it's Seren and from there she and Tiernan team up to figure out why and who wants Seren dead. The Fae are divided between the Seelie and the Unseelie and unbeknowst to the human council there is a Twilight court, and not only that, Seren is more apart of the fairy realm than she can even imagine. This story is full of action romance and history of fairy. Seren is a kick ass heroine who knows how to lead as well as take care of herself, but Tiernan is a good counterpart. He's an alpha, but not overly possesive, handsome, and strong, and give you all the feels. The book is awesome, who wouldn't want to wake up one day and find out that their a fairy princess, I know I would! I feel like this series would be great for television. It would be just like Game of Thrones mixed with Thor  except with all Fae, with all the politics going on, uncles wanting to murder their neices and wanting cousins to marry. There so much to look forward to and so much story to tell.  It would be great for TV because A. It has a everlasting plot B. Great Romance  and C. Because there are very few shows that have been based on Fae. It would be a nice switch  from vampires and werewolves all the time. It's new and it's fresh and a story that hasn't been told before. So this series should definitely be on the next lineup, it's guaranteed to have big ratings.

Casting

Seren- Ashley Greene
Tiernan- Theo James

So it's no secret that I'm obsessed with The Chronos Files series by Rysa Walker, it was even featured on my blog, I'm also a big freaking fan of The Harry Potter series, and if you love both of the books like I do, and would love a mix between the two, you will definitely want to read The Immortal Descendants series by April White. It's full of time traveling and the setting for the books is based around a school for the Immortal Descendants.  The Immortals are known as Time, Death, Nature, Fate, & War, and yes they are actually Gods, so there's a little bit of Greek Mythology thrown in there too. They are Gods that created there own offspring, and are forbidden to intermix with each other, and if there was ever a child of mixed heritage born, they will be put to death. So Fate and War cannot fall in love and have children, nor can Time and Nature, and so on. But of course there is always one rule breaker, and in this case it is Saira Elian, but it's not who she will fall in love with that breaks all the rules, it's what she is and what she'll become. Saira is a seventeen year old tagger living in Venice Beach, CA with her mom who is oblivious to the fact that she is a descendant of time, until one day while her mom has left her to her own devices, she goes out one night to tag and is chased by by some unknown assaliants, she is caught by authorities for tagging as she's running away, and they threaten to take her to child services. Because she has no parent around and no way to reach her mother, she has to reluctantly call her estranged grandmother in London and stay with her until her mother returns.

While in London, Saira tries to make the best of her stay and deems it to hard to put up with her difficult grandmother and runs away. While walking the London streets at night, she is subsequently chased by the same assailants that were chasing her in Venice Beach, but out of nowhere a stanger pulls up in an Aston Martin and orders her to get in if she wants to get away. Of course she is skeptical of this mystery man and he lets her out of the car and tells her to go to the tunnels at the train station while he distracts her pursuers, while she is in the tunnels she see's a drawing and begins outlining it with her finger, because she's drawn to it, and it looks familiar, and from there she falls through the picture. Not realizing it was a time portal, she's traveled back to the 1800's. She roams around thinking that there must have been a play going on somewhere in the city and the people are still dressed in costume. While roaming she comes face to face with Jack the Ripper and runs into no one other than the guy who rescued her, his name is Archer, but he has no idea who she is in this time frame. Since she's dressed for her time, he assumes she is a male because her hair is covered and she has on pants, and while conversing she finds out she's a time traveler and the year she has traveled to, not one to believe, Archer has to convince her with a newspaper a local boy is selling to prove to her what year it is. As she's leaving, Archer and her have caught the attention of Jack the Ripper once again and as she's falling through the portal she see's her mom. This is when the story really starts rolling, when she gets back, her grandmother enrolls her in The borarding school for Immortal Descendants, there she finds friendships and falls in love with an abomination to her kind. In the first book Saira is in a race against time to rescue her mother, she's took too long to come back to the current time, and that is when she sets forth a prophecy that's been into place way before she was even born.

The book has it's own unique spin on it. It is unlike any other I have read. It's not just about time traveling, it's about Seer's and vampires and shifters. So many elements to the book that it is told through a 5 part series. There is a school similar to Hogwarts where Saira's kind attends and they are in grave danger by a mysterious group that keeps kidnapping the descendants. The history of England is exceptional, I never knew much of the history of the monarchs, glimpses here and there but the author gets in depth and the description of the geography is uncanning.  The author puts so much description into the series and so much time into to the character development, you feel as though you are truly there. Every character in the book is of some importance, there is no useless information in this book. It keeps you guessing the whole time of what will happen next. The book is definitely YA Paranormal but it's suitable for all ages. The concept is great for a movie, it will definitely be up there with Twilight and Harry Potter for sure, and if you don't belive me, check it out yourself.  Link at the bottom for Goodreads.

If you like True Blood you will definitely like Sweet Blood of Mine by John Corwin. It's like a YA version of the Sookie Stackhouse novels except the protagonist isn't fae, can't read minds, and is definitely not a girl. This series is about seventeen year old Justin Case, he's smart, lives in Decatur, GA and is most definitely the nerd of the school. He's not particularly handsome, he is a little chunky with man boobs included, pimple faced, loves playing King and Castles, and is a little on the short side. Even though, Justin is constantly teased and the laughing stock of high school he has a heart of gold. He stands up for himself and for others. One day when Justin is after school playing King and Castles with his friends, he finds popular girl Katie getting harrased by Nate the captain of the football team, he rushes to her defense, gets into a fight with Nate who is twice his size in height and muscle and wins, not recognizing his own strength. Katie is greatful and her and Justin become friends. But they don't hit if off as great as you think, he doesn't become popular overnight or start dating the most popular girl in school. Justin's once picture perfect family life is in shambles. His once loving parents are arguing more and more and then one day his mom ups and leaves him and his father. Justin then gets frustrated and drunk and blasts Stacey on social media, afterwards no one wants to be his friend and he resorts to sitting with the goth kids, he also starts going to the gym, while his dad goes into depression and drinks himself into a stupor, Justin is left to fend for himself. It's not all that bad though, he decides to clean his life up and makes himself over and gets a membership at the gym. While leaving the gym he is attacked by a vampire like girl, and for then on he starts exhibiting supernatural abilities, like being super strong and is able to latch on to a person's energy and feed off of it. And by feeding off of energy, means he feeds off of women's sexual desires, making them want him, which results in them groping him in public, and of course Justin being the sap and a do gooder wants to wait for his one true love to break his virginity.

Justin ends up being really good friends with the goth crowd and even enters a relationship with the girl of the group Elyssa. But soon she finds out what he is and despises him, as Justin is still oblivious to what he is, he is heartbroken. And just like that he's alone again. But then he gets into the in crowd at school and shows off his supernatural strength causing some unwanted attention by the Overworld, the world for the Supernaturals. From there he discovers what he is, learns how to fight, and goes on a rescue mission. Justin is one of kind species. This would be a great tv series. He's like a modern day Spiderman, you know how Peter was a geek and then becomes this superhero that no one knows the identitiy of, it goes the same for Justin. He's your average geek waiting to get out of high school to really start his life. There is such a great dynamic between the protagonist and the supporting characters. I also like that we're introduced to the world the same way as Justin. We as the audience are just as oblivious as Justin is about what he is and what he discovers.  There is so much to tell that this is a 14 book series. There is a battle going on and it's just the beginning. So please hype this one up, John Corwin has created a brilliant paranormal world that coincides with today's society, that most definitely needs to be seen on tv!

Justin Case- Asa Butterfield
Elyssa- Maia Mitchell

I have read yet another impressive series this year. The Seeker series by Amy Reece is nothing short of great. I absolutely loved it, every book in this series keeps you wanting for more and I'm so glad I read it once the series was completed, I wouldn't be able to stand it if I had to wait a length of time in between time for the next book in the series to become available. The series is about 16 year old Ally Moran, she lives with her mother and grandmother in Albuquerque,NM and they come from a long line of seers. Since mixing the bloodlines, the generations only have mild seer power, for instance Ally's grandmother can only sense things and Ally's mother is really good at finding things, and it's only passed to the women in the family. But, Ally's different from her mother and grandmother, while most women in the family don't start to show their abilites until their 18, Ally has a vision at the age of 16 in the middle of class. There the mysterious Jack Ruiz keeps her from passing out, and they form a close friendship. Jack keeps his distance from Ally because of their age difference and his rough past. Jack is behind in school because after his mother's passing he acted out and was involved in a gang, but now he is just trying to get his life back on track and be a better man for his little sister and graduate high school, he's been given a 2nd chance by his aunt and uncle and is really trying not to blow it.

Ally is nothing but persistent when it comes to Jack, and befriends him, even though he tries so hard to maintain his distance. Ally reveals to her family about her vision and it's beyond anyone's experience and they seek outside help from the Seer Counsil in Ireland, where her ancestors originated. The visions Ally keeps having involve a classmate that used to be her best friend growing up and are now estranged. The visions are disturbing, but she is determined to help her, she even  joins the cheerleading squad to get closer to her. It's not until Ally see's future events that she has to visit Ireland and spend her school breaks with the counsil. The story is intriguing and as it progresses Ally and Jack expose a big scandal involving her used to be friend, a coach, and the whole football team, and that's just in the first book of the series. So as you can tell it's exciting, full of the supernatural, and pretty thrilling. I had so much fun reading this book. Ally's friends play a big role too, including her friend Tara who is ordinary and knows all about Ally's visions, and Remy and Mina who are also seers who become very close to Ally. All the characters are so three dimensional, you can easily tell them apart, they all have their own unique personality. I also like the fact that the author let's them grow up in the series, from teenagers to adults, it's nice to see that kind of contrast. Amy Reece does a great job with the level of maturity the charaters exude. I also like the fact that she didn't make them saints, she made them like teenagers in our society, they curse, they make mistakes, and they're curious.

It's nice to see some characters have a family that's living with siblings, you rarely see that. A lot of young adult novels main characters parents are deceased and they have no siblings and they grow up with a distant relative unbeknowst to them that their from this mysterious important family. Which is nothing wrong with that, I love books like that, but it's also good to see a story like Ally's with so much support behind the main character. It's rare. The story reminds me of a cross between Roswell and Dawson's Creek, it has it's paranormal elements along with a small group of close friends that have their own little drama while dealing with keeping their paranormal secrets and also helping solve mysteries. I 100% recommend this series. It gets 5 out of 5 stars from me and I hope from you too. It will relate great into a televison series and hope you guys will be able to see the vision too. So check it out and create some buzz. I know I am. And by the way Happy Belated Valentines Day!!!!!

All hail the Kings & Queens, Long may they Reign..............

King Hall by Scarlett Dawn is really fitting the trend right now in todays film and tv shows. This book has the element of a monarchy and paranormal wrapped up all in one with a nice pretty bow on top. This series is about four factions of the mystical society, shifters, mages, elementals, and vampires. There is a King or Queen chosen for every faction that will reign until the next prodigies are discovered and pass their tasks. In this lucky group, the prodigies are Ezra, Jack, Pearl, and Dominic our main charater Lily's mate. In a sequence of events Lily ends up becoming the prodigy shifter. During this change we learn about the politcs of being a King and Queen and how the prodigies are expected to rule together. There is also a peace treaty between the mys world and the commoners which are people who are non magical.

In this series we discover what it takes to become the head of their faction and the difficult tasks they have to complete. Lily is the most inexperienced one, she grew up with the commoners masquerading as a one because of her mixed heritage. In the mystical community the factions are not allowed to mix breeds and if doing so, the executioner is called to execute the child at birth. Lily is half shifter and half vampire, she grew up with her mom and a powerful mage named Antonio who put a spell on her to hide her heritage. She ended up at King Hall, the University for mysticals because her mate is the prodgiy shifter. She is thrust into a unknown world she has little knowledge of, but what's unexpected is that her and her fellow prodigies become fast best friends. They do everything together and eventually learn her secret and promises are made to keep it.  She even confides in them the identity of her father, which is scandelous all by itself.

On the day of their graduation they are attacked by the Coms and have to flee their beloved University and this sparks the Mysticals vs. Commoners World War II forcing them to flee to a safe haven. With numerous casualties the prodigies worlds quickly change and they are transformed into Kings and Queens in this time of tribulation and are handed the task of finding their own prodigies, leaving their safety net and risking their lives to get them to safety. During that time they are personally challenged with their own warring feelings, death, dispair, and unlikely and forbidden romances. Everything and everone are not what they seem, but they have each other and that's what holds them together.

This series would be great for TV, with all the elements and different factions of mysticals, so many story lines that can keep the series going for a number of seasons. The secondary characters also play more of a major role than expected. It has all the makings of a hit tv show, politics, action, suspense & romance. If I could pick two tv shows right now to describe the series, it would be The Vampire Diaries mixed with Reign. Suprisingly the books didn't have a lot of angst, and the characters were strong and developed extremely well. They all had their own unique personality that meshed well together. The prodigy's mentors were also great characters having a well thought out history and good stories of their own. The setting being a college campus would really lock in the viewers, making it trendy and up to date with today's society. In all the series is a great story and is different and sets apart from other paranormal stories. I am asking my fellow screeners to please read this series and get the buzz out for this story so we can see it on tv, and oh how awesome that would be!

Happy New Year Everyone! I'm starting the New Year's off right with a fantabulous book series to share with you all. It is the Kara Gillian series by Diana Rowland, the first book in the series is Mark of the Demon. The book is a urban fantasy series with tons of mystery and a little romance. The first book in the series follows Detective Kara Gillian being promoted to being a homicide detective. She's 29, lives in New Orleans, both parents deceased and was raised by her quirky aunt, she's a loner, and she's also a pretty kick ass demon summoner.  Her first assignment is to solve a series of murders that have been unsolved for decades, because the killer is striking again, leaving a number of bodies in his wake. The serial killer is known as the Symbol Man, and what's so unique about the cases is that each and every body has an arcane trace on them leading Kara to realize that this murder also has something to do with demons. Add that to the fact that the FBI has a secret supernatural task force that's also been assigned to assisting her on the case.

During one of her routine summonings, she accidentally summons the demon lord Rhyzkahl, the highest and most deadliest of the demons. As Kara scrambles, the demon lord threatens her, but in a flash changing his mind to kill her, and instead sleeps with her and establishes a link between him and Kara, with her unknowingly.  Since her aunt is also a demon summoner, she's trained Kara in everything arcane, so Kara seeks help from her aunt after the summoning. Kara's aunt has not versed Kara in her family history of summoners, so Kara is in the dark about a lot of things and doesn't even know it. Kara also is attracted to the FBI agent Ryan Kristoff who happens to have some arcane abilities in him, but doesn't know it himself, therefore can see aracane traces same as what Kara see's when investigating the bodies. Kara also entrusts him with her secret of being a summoner.

As they get close to who the Symbol Man actually is, they realize Kara is being goaded and that the Symbol Man is a summoner himself, trying to sense how strong a summoner Kara is. The story is intriguing and the killer is someone you would never suspect. The back drop of New Orleans is great and adds the effect of the paranormal element of the story. The characters are well developed and have great depth. The series would be a wonderful show. I could see it on the Syfy channel or the CW Network. It has potential to be a great detective show along the ranks with the Supernatual except on the right side of the law. There's excitement in it, and leaves you anticipating on what will happen next. So if you're reading this, definitely help me create a buzz for this series so it can get optioned and put into work. It is something different and there's no show out there like it! And many many blessings to you all in 2017!!!!!!!!!

I just read American Queen by Sierra Simone and oh my gosh was it alluring. I loved it. The novel is apart of a trilogy and it’s about a young woman named Greer Galloway, a 26yo college professor who is the granddaughter of a former Vice President, who grew up in politics. The novel follows her life growing up with her grandfather after her parents passing. We see her grow up from elementary school to boarding school. Greer is gorgeous but modest. On her 16th birthday she attends an event with her grandfather and her jealous cousin Abilene, there she has a fight with her cousin and ends up meeting the future President Maxen Colchester, he seduces her with the promise of sex even though he’s quite older than her, only to dance around the years not seeing each other. On their 2nd encounter there is a betrayal and she winds up losing her virginity to his best friend and future Vice President Embry Moore, which after that one night she never sees again. Then one day while Greer is just going about her life day to day Embry comes waltzing back in asking her to meet The President in secrecy, and there the President asks to court Greer and of course she obliges to the man she's been in love with since she was 16. The novel is about a polygamous relationship, but it doesn’t start that way, it gradually builds up into one. We often see monogamous relationships on tv or love triangles, but this book has a new twist on relationships, making a relationship between three people seem so natural and so desirable. It’s unconventional but also romantic.

The novel would relay very well as a movie, It is a cross between Scandal and The Notebook, there is such a deep love story and also the thrilling aspect of being with the President and the suspense that comes along with it, like dealing with the dangers of being with someone so public and political. It is a story no one has ever seen before and would break barriers, even though society views it as wrong. Sierra Simone is a master at her words. The emotions are very real, and what I really like about the story is that there is no angst, the characters are very mature and deal with their problems as adults. Greer maybe a little naive about the people close to her, but she deals with it the best way she can. We see when jealousy rears it’s ugly head in the form of her cousin Abilene and how it is to be dealt with. It is a trilogy and the 2nd book doesn’t premier until March, and of course I cannot wait simply because there is a huge cliffhanger at the end of book 1. I am excited and intrigued about the world Mrs. Simone has created. It catches you from the first word that is written in her Prologue. So if your looking for a love story and it’s original, you should definitely create enough buzz for this novel so it can be made into a movie. I am telling you first hand it is everything that your looking for! I’m calling out Netflix, Lifetime, Universal, to please check this out, this could be your next 50 Shades and coming to a theater near you.

Blurb: Darkhouse (Experiment in Terror #1)

There’s always been something a bit off about Perry Palomino. Though she’s been dealing with a quarter-life crisis and post-college syndrome like any other twenty-something, she’s still not what you would call “ordinary.” For one thing, there’s her past which she likes to pretend never happened, and then there’s the fact that she sees ghosts.

Luckily for her, that all comes in handy when she stumbles across Dex Foray, an eccentric producer for an upcoming webcast on ghost hunters. Even though the show’s budget is non-existent and Dex himself is a maddening enigma, Perry is instantly drawn into a world that both threatens her life and seduces her with a sense of importance.

Her uncle’s haunted lighthouse provides the perfect catalyst and backdrop for a horrific mystery that unravels the threads of Perry’s fragile sanity and causes her to fall for a man, who, like the most dangerous of ghosts, may not be all that he seems.

If you love the tv show Supernatural, then you will definitely love The Experiment in Terror series by author Karina Halle. The series centers around characters Perry and Dex, two people who stumble upon each other in the most strangest of situations. Perry is a 22yo college graduate living in Oregon with her parents and younger sister. Dex is a 32yo cameraman living in Seattle. They meet one night when Perry and her family are visiting her uncle who happens to own a so called haunted lighthouse. One night Perry sneaks off from a bonfire to check out the mysterious lighthouse and runs into Dex who is filming and trespassing for his new internet show involving ghost hunting. Perry is skeptical of Dex as they wind up searching the lighthouse together. During their tour Perry hears and sees things that apparently aren’t there. Dex needing a partner propositions Perry to be on the show with him. Perry agrees even though she finally has a stable job and bringing in a income since graduating college. Perry is a character that I would characterize as having low self esteem, never classified as the pretty girl, was overweight in high school, and had problems with drugs. Perry has a history of mental illness, having hallucinations, seeing people that were already dead and Perry believing that they were alive. But, what Perry and her family don’t know is that she has a gift for seeing dead people in a morbid Sixth Sense kind of way. Dex is intriguing and also has a history of mental illness. Even though Dex and Perry seem very different at first even to each other, they are very much alike and have a shared past that you won’t see coming.

The show Supernatural and The Experiment in Terror series both battle the supernatural and they both have a partner in crime, but they’re also a lot different, the duo int the EIT series are coed, they have a internet show showcasing their ghost hunting skills, and both unbeknownst to others and themselves have supernatural abilities. This could be a really great show and give the Supernatural tv series a run for it’s money. The EIT series takes on a new spin for this genre. And I know that people love the Supernatural tv show, but sometimes you have to know when to end it. I feel like the show has run it’s course and something new has to come in. All these novels have the potential to be great shows and movies, it just takes one executive to take notice. To not only option the novel but to put it into fruition. Maybe that person will be me! Hey I’m working on it. But until then please put enough hype into this series  to make it into a tv show. It’s awesome, the scenery and relationship between the protagonists are very realistic. So please check out the series and the wonderful author Karina Halle, who put this all together.

What can I say, best story ever for Halloween. The Ghost Files by Apryl Baker is one creeptabulous story for the ages! I absolutely loved it. There are 3 books in total right now that have been published the 4th book comes out this December. Why oh why did I torture myself…………. I'm anticipating the release date for book #4.

Ghost files is about a 16yr old foster kid named Mattie. Mattie has been able to see ghosts ever since she was 5yrs old when her mom tried to commit a murder suicide but Mattie lived. And I'm not talking about seeing Casper the friendly ghost, I'm talking about the sixth sense type of ghosts, she sees them the way they died, however horrific that might be. She has been ignoring the dead ever since then also, refusing to recognize them in hopes that they would just go away, until one day she see's the ghost of her foster sister Sally and has to help. After her foster mother refuses to call the police and Mattie ends up in the hospital for a severe migraine, she convinces her case worker when she comes to visit to report her foster sister missing. During the interview Mattie bonds with one of the detectives, and he with her, and from there a series of events take off.  Mattie doesn't trust anyone and yet she seems to trust 20yr old Detective Dan with all her secrets. He believes her when she tells him that her foster sister is not just another runaway and agrees to help her.

Dan opens an investigation and him and Mattie are determined to find Sally's killer. Dan is Mattie's confident, she's never had anyone to depend on, and Dan is that for her. One thing I really like is that they both have mysterious backgrounds, both have no family history. Dan was adopted when he was a newborn into a loving family, and even though he's seems like your average Joe, he's far from it. He's more like Mattie than even he thinks. This series is a great YA Paranormal for all ages. It's not only about ghosts, but Demons and Angels too, and the decendants of these beings. It's like the sixth sense mixed with Mortal instruments if I had to sum it up. They even have protection Runes like Mortal Instruments, how awesome! The book has yet to tell Mattie's role in the grand scheme of things and I'm only too eager to find out. There are a host of supporting characters along the way that help make up this fantastic series that you will love. Mattie is a girl that can never seem to stay out of trouble and it's quite intriguing how she always lands in the most dangerous of situations.  I will not give it away but you won't know what mythical being Mattie is until the end of book 1, it's great because she finds out at the same time the reader finds out. There are so many mysterious elements, it's addicting because you keep wanting more. Also let me mention that these books have already been optioned to be a movie by Rami Rank of the hits series Dexter and the production team of Pathbender that have been responsible for the for the Twilight Saga and Percy Jackson, so that's super exciting. Hopefully it will be in a theatre near you pretty soon. I'm stoked and hope you are too at this wonderful news. The link is below from the author's blogspot.  HAPPY HALLOWEEN my fellow screeners!

Mattie Hathaway- Danielle Campbell

I'm sooooo sorry it's been over a month since I blogged anything, I was in a major reading slump, I just couldn't get into anything, but then I wondered across this little treasure, Exquisite Danger by Ann Mayburn. The first two books in this series follows the story of Swan Anderson and Miguel "Smoke" of the Iron Horse MC. We need a good MC show since Sons of Anarchy. I thought the MC genre was trending, but after SOA there hasn't been anymore shows that are similar. This book reminds me a little bit of the Blood & Roses series by Callie Hart which is on one of my previous blog posts.

Swan Anderson is a high functioning autistic 20yr old young woman living a quiet life in a quaint community and Smoke is the hitman for the Iron House MC. Smoke is actually doing a security protection detail on Swan without her knowledge. He watches her from a far because some very powerful people want to kidnap her and her twin sister and make them pay for their mother's dubious deeds which involves stealing from those powerful people including the Iron House MC. You would ask why is the MC doing a security detail on Swan even though their mother stole from them, it's because Sarah, Swan's twin sister is the President's old lady. Swan and Smoke meet when Swan is kidnapped and Smoke sweeps in and saves her.

From there Smoke and Swan are inseparable. Swan is sensitve to touch as one of the side effects from her autism and can only be touched by people she trusts. Swan immediately trusts Smoke as he is her saviour and all, and things get heated between the two in a matter of weeks. After the incident with the kidnapping, Swan is taken into the protective custody of the MC, there she finds out what her mom has been up to and that her twin sister went after their mom to recover the stolen items. This story is full of crime and romance, a real thriller in regards of everything that's going on. There is a traitor in the mist of the club who knows their every move.  We follow their story as they navigate the crime world trying to find Sarah and figure out who's the major player working with Sarah and Swan's mother.

There is a lot at stake, but Swan and Sarah are just as lethal as their men, growing up on a compound with a arms dealer for a father and a assasin for the mafia for a step-mother. This series could definitely be a televison series and a fan favorite. The sex scenes are hottt so beware only 18 and up for this series. I like this novel because it not only focuses on the men in the MC but the lives of the women and how they can be just as ruthless if not more than their counter parts. There is a lot of action and a great plot that will have your head spinning. It would be great if this series could be on a premium network like HBO or Showtime so we can see the dirty gritty details. I just want to tell you guys this is a must read and definitely a must see if and when it is finally in production. Until next time my fellow screeners, check out the book, let me know what you think. Comment section is below!
